Vertical Shaft Impactors
Vertical shaft impactors are generally used for breaking thin materials. They are effective in reducing the size of materials such as hard abrasive river stones. In addition, it is the most suitable crusher type that can be used especially for size reduction and shaping (cubicization) of materials passing through conical crushers. They are produced with closed rotor and with or without cascade, and most importantly, with material pad or impact wedge. If crushing is desired, it can be converted to the impact wedge type by simply attaching the impact wedges and circle. It is useful to use the cascade type when the amount of material coming to the crusher is likely to increase. The competitive advantage of these crushers is the stability of the granulometric composition of crushing the product, which depends only on the crushing speed and does not depend on the degree of wear of the working bodies as in crushers of other types.
